Bling Bling!

There are many things a bride needs in order to complete her wedding look. She will need a dress of course, a veil (or not), shoes, and of course jewelry! Often we have brides who are unsure of what type of jewelry to wear with their gown and how to coordinate with other jewelry pieces. Here are some tips to wearing jewelry on your big day! :)

Earrings

Studs: Whether its a small or large stud earring, you can wear them with a statement necklace. A stud earring also works well with a wedding gown that has a high or busy neckline.

Chandelier or Dangle Earrings: A more extravagant earring is a definite attention grabber. These earrings look best on their own without a necklace. They can look beautiful with a gown that has a low or bare neckline. A dangle earring looks fantastic on a high neck gown as well, but pay attention to the length and design. For example, if an earring is too long on a gown with a busy neckline, it may look too crowded.

Necklaces

Simple Necklaces: These can go well with any gown with any neckline, because they’re so simple! To compliment the necklace, stick to a stud earring, any size would look nice. A short, dangly earring would also look stunning. Its all about balance!

Statement Necklace: These can be so much fun! With a necklace doing all the talking, compliment it with a stud earring. It is enough as to not overpower your neckline. A statement necklace looks best on a gown with an open neckline (strapless, thin straps, etc.)

Bracelets

Last but not least, bracelets! We suggest one or a few bracelets on the right wrist. This keeps a visual distance between your wedding ring and your bracelet(s). A bracelet with a long sleeve looks great, however too many may make it hard to see under a sleeve. A large necklace with a large bracelet may clash, choose one or the other to make a statement.

In conclusion, jewelry is meant to be fun and expressive! These tips are not set in stone, just more of a basic guideline that can even be applied to everyday wear. If you want to do a statement necklace with chandelier earrings, go right ahead! In the end, its about what makes you feel beautiful and confident!
